This method of making hash can be done almost anywhere with materials that cost less than $50 dollars. I love the simplicity and durability of this low tech approach that in the hands of a skilled hash maker can yield a top shelf product. There’s nothing quite like the terpene profile of landrace derived Moroccan hash. Captures the sun, the spice and the heart of Morocco.
I heard many different stories about how and when Morocco started making hash by this method. Some say, it was brought by an Englishman. Others say it was brought by Jews. Another version of the story says cannabis was brought by Idris, the great, great, great grandson of the prophet Mohammed.
All these stories may be true. Our tribe follows many paths, but we are all going to the same destination. A world that we really want to live in.
